Tiago Duarte

b. Lisbon, Portugal, 1979

Works and lives in Edinburgh, UK

My practice is a platform for the performance of erratic exercises where the constraints of process such as repetition, differentiation and variation transgress notions of automation to create one off pieces; I appropriate and misuse technological apparatus and quotidian routines so as to find the errors that I mediate into becoming work.
